Shipping policy
Backyard delivers to all countries worldwide.
Your order will be delivered to the address specified when placing your order.
Delivery consists of the transfer of physical possession or control of the Products to the Customer.
Backyard offers up to three delivery methods, depending on the country of delivery:
- Home Delivery, within one to five (2-5) business days for France, the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Reunion Island, Liechtenstein, Jersey, and Guernsey, except in exceptional cases.
- International Delivery, within one to ten (7-10) business days, for all countries where Backyard delivers, except in exceptional cases.
When the Customer's order consists solely of Internet Product(s) (hereinafter the “Internet Order”): the choice of delivery method is the responsibility of the Customer when placing the order.
Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday will only be validated and processed on the next business day.
Shipping costs are fixed and are charged to the Customer at the rate in effect on the day of the order:
For Internet Orders, shipping costs will correspond to the rate in effect for the delivery method chosen by the Customer, as indicated when the Customer places the order.
Shipping costs are free for one or more delivery methods (depending on the country of delivery) for all orders equal to or greater than one hundred (100) euros/pounds sterling including tax. In the case of a Mixed Order, shipping costs are free if the combined total of Internet Products and Store Products is equal to or greater than one hundred (100) euros including tax.
The estimated delivery date for your order will be provided on the Website in your “order summary.” Although delivery times are provided for informational purposes only, Backyard undertakes to make every effort to deliver the Products ordered by the Customer within these time frames.
You will be asked to sign for your order upon delivery (except in special circumstances, such as measures taken in response to the COVID-19 health crisis).
If you are not home, a delivery notice will be left in your mailbox, allowing you to collect your package from the carrier. Packages are held for seven (7) calendar days.
If a package is not received within the specified time frame, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier and may take up to twenty-one (21) business days.
If the order is not received within the time limits indicated above, for any reason other than force majeure or the Customer's fault, any sale may be canceled at the Customer's written request, under the conditions provided for in Articles L216-6 and L 216-7 of the Consumer Code. The sums paid by the Customer will then be refunded to them no later than fourteen (14) days after the date of termination of the contract, excluding any compensation or deduction.
Upon receipt of the order, the Customer shall check the conformity of the Products received in accordance with their order. Any anomaly concerning the delivery (i.e., missing or damaged Products, damaged packages) must be indicated, first and foremost, on the delivery note in the form of handwritten reservations accompanied by your signature to the carrier. Secondly, any anomaly must be notified as soon as possible after receipt of the Products to Backyard customer service.

Backyard reserves the right to ask the Customer to return any non-compliant or damaged Product(s).
In the event of abnormal or abusive returns, Backyard may refuse to fulfill any subsequent orders.
